raincheckIf you have never heard or or used rainchecks, be sure to check out Karen’s post here on how to “Save Money Using Rainchecks”.

Raincheck

A store coupon to purchase a sale ad item that is out of stock.  So, when they are out of an item that is in the sale ad that week, you can go to the customer service desk and ask for a “raincheck” to use the next time  you are in the store.

TIP:   If you are purchasing an item that is out of stock and the coupon is about to expire, most stores will honor the coupon if purchased the next week.  Just ask and they will clip it to the raincheck and initial it’s okay for use.
