Love that you’re a hot sauce fan! I am a firm believer in everything needin’ a little kick. 😉 Enjoying your blog & suggestions. It was good to see you last week (ever so briefly!) Ms Kristin (aka The Library Lady)

Since you like hot sauce, a twist on this is to make buffalo chicken pizza.

I use chicken that I’ve boiled and shredded and toss it with a little buffalo wing sauce (I love the Franks brand). Take a pizza crust and spread a thin layer of buffalo wing sauce on it, top with the chicken, and cheese of choice (I prefer the skim-milk mozzarella). Bake and enjoy with ranch or blue cheese dressing if preferred. You can always add veggies on top or serve with celery.

It’s my favorite way to get one of my favorites (buffalo chicken strips or wings) without all of the fat from frying.

    Kelly,

This sounds great. It reminds me of a pizza I had while in Mazatlan Mexico last summer at El RIN RIN (which is Spanish for DING DONG), it was a Pizza place much like our Pizza Hut. They had a Mexican Pizza there with beans as their base, Chorizo, Jalapenos and cheese and was served with a strange sauce on the side. Took me a while to figure out what it was. It was mayo and ketchup. It really complimented the pizza.

Feedback on your website, you have such great recipes that I would really love some sort of search bar to find past recipes.

Franks is my most very favorite hot sauce too girls! For my buffalo chicken pizza I combine abt 1/4 cup of melted yogurt butter (or any kind of butter I have on hand) with 2/3 cup of Franks. Then I add chopped or pulled chicken, dump it all on the pizza crust and top with cheese. Not quite as healthy as Jessica’s version but that little bit of butter really helps! Kelly, this black bean version looks great. Thanks for sharing, can’t wait to try it!

ooh, I’ll have to try that recipe Katie. As much as I like it I will LOVE this one! What type of cheese do you use, cheddar, monterey jack or mozzarella?

    Hi friends

I really love cooking of various unusual meals. I had luck to find really great and unusual recipes at http://www.wrightstores.us. This company is selling special REMOSCA Cookers. It’s the great device for cooking wide variety of great meals and especially fantastic PIZZAS. These cookers are perfect for outdoor cooking too. I am using one in my truck since they have pretty low power consumption. These cookers can be cleaned very easily.

Anyway they are selling a lot of truly wonderful items too.

    Have a great day.

    Best regards Ed

I make this but I do it on large tortillas. It takes half the time and sometimes I stack them and do a brown off under the broiler.to get the cheese super melty.
