Can you please post your brisquet recipe? I have no idea how to make it but hubby would love it (he's from Texas!)

Cort – I use Ree Drummond of the Pioneer Woman's Brisket recipe. Link below!

I just finished my meal plan for this week. With two sick kids and the snow and ice on the ground I am not sure when I am going to get to the store. The sick kids were a blessing last week though. I only spent $18 at the grocery store before they got sick and couldn't make it back out. Before I knew it, pantry meals had gotten us through the week.

It says in your menu plan that avocados are .25 cents this week at Publix. I called a publix in Brentwood and they didn't have that sale. I didn't see it in the sale paper but wanted to run by there and stock up if they are!

My husband and I like to eat healthy and I am a FAITHFUL Eat this, Not that fan. I recently bought the Cook this, Not that and I LOVE it. Anyways I do my meal plans every two weeks and my husband is a Lieutenant at the Fire Department who is on shift every third day (when my daughter and I eat at my mom's, how lucky am I?)

Anyways, I don't have to cook every day but I love to cook and this is what we are having this week:

Rotisserie Chicken tomorrow, I am grocery shopping
Putanesca sauce – Robin Miller, great to have and freeze
    Amy's pizza
Sausage Frittata – Cook this Not that

I just found your website through FB, and I'm enjoying browsing around. One of the benefits of stockpiling and OAMC for us is the ease with which we can share with other church members. My church has a Good Samaritans ministry to provide homecooked meals to other member of the church or community. It might be a family with a new baby, a hospitalized loved one, or a family going through a crisis. Stockpiling allows me to easily pull something together for another family – to God's glory!

I find meal planning is the only way I can keep my family on track for healthy eating. Otherwise, I run out of time and energy and we eat poorly!

I posted my meal plan yesterday! Should be a yummy week…
