My Master Plan for Freezer Cooking – Prep Day on March 4th

by Kelly on March 1, 2010

Glad you stopped by! Looking for something? Checkout my Categories and Resources page.

I originally decided to do my Freezer Cooking – Prep Day with Crystal on Monday and Tuesday of this week, but am realizing that is just unrealistic for me.  I will be traveling and my sons birthday is Wednesday, so I am going to post my Master Plan for you now and then I will do my cooking on Thursday  – if all goes well!  This week’s prep will be a mix of sides, lunch, dinners and breakfast foods.  The mini-pizzas were such a hit last month, I will be doing those again!

I hope you will be joining me on Thursday, or if you stick with the original plan you can follow the #oamc hashtag on Twitter to see what everyone else will be pulling together.

Here is my Master Plan, which might change as I get closer to Thursday!

Homemade Granola

Breakfast Burritos

Steak Fries

Breadmachine Cinnamon Rolls

Beef Brisket – from The Poineer Woman Cookbook

Spinach Cream Cheese Lasagna

Mini-Pizzas (separate dough into 8 pieces)

===========================

What are you planning for your Freezer Cooking Prep Day? Be sure to leave your plans and/or results here (depending on which day you are participating) in the form of a comment, or a link, if you did a post.

Kelly, can you post how exactly you make and freeze your breakfast burritos? How done do you cook eggs, what all do you put in yours, what do you wrap them in? I've heard these are so easy to cook ahead and freeze, but haven't had luck with them myself. Thanks!
