This is a GREAT addition to your site. This has been my biggest challenge with coupons…. finding organic, healthy options. Thank you so much for adding this!
This is very exciting. I can’t wait to see more. I would love to see some made-from-scratch recipes. For example, I typically buy brownie mix already in the box because it is a convenience but I would love to find a recipe to make this from scratch with things I already have. That way I can BE SURE there is nothing in there that doesn’t need to be. Ok, maybe brownies wasn’t the healthiest example. 🙂
It may not be the healthiest, but they sure are good! We will still be eating a few unhealthy indulgences, it’s all about moderation!!! 🙂
We find ourselves at the same place in life! I want to do things healthier but with 6 kids we definitely need to stick to a budget! I am just now trying to find things that we can eat that don’t have artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. I would love to see lists of these kind of foods. I am trying to find some fun “treats” that we can eat that don’t have these ingredients. While not super healthy I just discovered that plain Lays potato chips only have potatoes and oil… no weird stuff. So I think it would be cool to have some lists of foods that are free of artificial flavors, colors and preservatives. Curious to learn more about sugar alternatives that aren’t artificial too! I need to learn more about that!

I love that you are doing this. I raised 3 sons who are all grown now and I follow your site all the time and have recommended yours to them as many of the other sites only give savings for processed food. Cooking from scratch with does take that much time and is so much healthier. It is also so much less expensive than processed foods.
Yeah! This is exactly what I’m looking for. Definitely want to hear/read ideas for removing the artificial food out of our diet and going more natural. I’ve started a little here and there but helps a LOT to get ideas from others. Thanks for putting this together!
I am SO exicted to take this journey with you!

I was SO excited to read this post!! I have been on this journey for the past 7 months and find many of the couponing blogs have not been. Happy to see you will be there to help!
Kelly,
This is wonderful. I feel the same way you do and want to make my body and my family healthier. Michael Pollan (Food Rules, Food Inc., The Omnivore’s Dilemna) has a great website and also great books about the industrialization of food and how we can avoid it. I find his writing fascinating and eye-opening. Thanks for doing this.
Kelly, This could not come at a better time! Have just been reading about consuming less processed, more organic options and wondering how to fit this into our family budget. This will be an extremely helpful addition to your site. I have followed your site for about a year now and have learned so much. I look forward to reading these additional tips!
Really excited for you to start doing this! Have you read the hallelujah diet book yet? It is christian based eating plan that I believe in. Would love to see you have coupons tips and recipes that go with that sort of thinking!
