Giveaway: “What Women Fear” Angie Smith’s New Book

by Kelly on September 1, 2011 · 119 comments

What-Women-Fear-Giveaway

If you know anything about Angie Smith, you know she has a unique way of connecting with other women, and then connecting those women to God. Angie’s journey through the loss of her daughter, Audrey Caroline, as chronicled on her blog, Bring the Rain and then released as the book, I Will Carry You, brought to the national spotlight an author/blogger who was able to talk with women deeply about the life issues that resonate most with us.

I’m very thankful that Angie is a personal friend. I’m excited for you to read this book. When you read her, you’re not reading anything that is put on. She’s real. Her new book, What Women Fear: Walking in Faith that Transforms, is about as real as it gets! Angie talks about the things that we don’t want to talk about: our doubts and fears. We all have them, and as Angie detailed in her first book, she has already experienced every mother’s greatest fear, losing a child. Blending her own experiences with those of people in the Bible, Angie enables her readers to begin dealing effectively with this very human emotion of fear, no matter what the issues in your life.

Today only, I’m inviting you to enter for the chance to win one of three copies of What Women Fear that I have to give away!

In case you don’t win, please order Angie’s book, What Women Fear. Remember, you can get FREE shipping when you order through Amazon Prime or Amazon Mom!

I’ve been reading Angie’s blog since before Audrey was born. During those difficult months for the Smith family, our family was dealing with a different sorry… deeply in the midst of several unsuccessful infertility treatments. Angie’s journey has had a profound impact on the way I have walked my own road of grief where I got to know a side of God that I never would have if He had just answered my prayers exactly how I wanted Him to. I am thrilled that she has written a second book and would love to win a copy! I promise to pass it along if I win:)) God bless!

That said, having read another commentor’s post, if I win, I plan to give it to the the dear mom who placed that post (through you. lol) She states in her post that she lost a daughter and struggles with fears. Since your writer friend has the blessing of the Lord upon her life and is able to share such wisdom as will set the captive free, It would be my desire for that wisdom to be received!
