What's-for-Dinner

Tonight’s Dinner Idea is Crock Pot Roasted Chicken, roasted onions and sweet potatoes, and steamed broccoli. I’ll be using the leftovers from this for several of this week’s meals, plus I will freeze the carcass to make Homemade Chicken Stock. Check out this week’s Weekly Meal Plan for more great ideas, matched with what’s in season and on sale.

I was intrigued to learn how to make the crockpot chicken, but the link goes to roasted chicken. Since I already know how to roast a chicken, it was of no use to me. Thought I was gonna learn something new, but no such luck!

Sorry Ruby! I need to add the directions, but I just do the exact same recipe except I put it into the Crock Pot on low for 8 hours. I’ll try to put up a separate post with detailed directions. HOpe that helps. :)
