   The Military wives that I know are ones who’s husbands served in wars before my time or during peace time.
   One of the ladies is Mrs. Mary Petty who shared a love affair with her husband across the miles and raising their children sometimes being both father and mother.
   When he got to come home on leave, he would always bring her something special from wherever he was serving.
   Her faith has been such an encouragement to me and many others. Shirley Merritt

   I love Army Wives and your emails. I think the TV shows allows us to see the other side of the coin so to speak. Everyone talks about what the military men and women miss out on while they are deployed but so many times I don’t think we stop and think that their families are the ones missing out too. God bless them all!
