This recipe looks fantastic! I am actually hosting a kale linky party at http://www.2sisters2cities.com/2012/06/kale_recipes/ as part of our Fresh Produce Tuesday series. I would love if you submitted this recipe!

I like Jennifer Cornbleet’s recipe for raw kale salad. It’s very good!

If I can’t find nutritional yeast can I substitute something? Like……? I love your recipes but I live out in the country and don’t get into Whole Foods very often. Thank you for answering my questions about the Bragg’s Amino Acids. That was helpful.

Sevananda Grocery Co-op in Atlanta Georgia has absolutely the best Raw Kale Salad Recipe I’ve ever had! I could eat this every day. I ate it with their Brown Coconut Rice with green peas, and it was absolutely AWESOME. I put a little olive oil on the rice to moisten a little, I was spazzing & losing my mind while I was eating it.
They put raw kale, apple cider vinegar, carrots, yellow squash, red peppers, red onions, garlic avocado, & olive oil
It’s to die for, – a must try!

Oh, I forgot they also put lemon juice. Can’t forget anything!

Here in Hawaii we call food (or anything) that is massaged “lomi lomi” style. When you see a salad prepared this way it would be called Lomi Lomi Garlicky Kale. It’s a wonderful way to get the most from your kale.
