   Do you think this would work with sugar snap peas? I bought a bunch!

   It would be helpful to me to know what size cans of green beans to use, or at least an amount by weight or measure. Canned green beans come in several sizes.

   I came to this page searching for a recipe after my friend told me that her mother used to make “vinegar green beans”, which she described as something just about like this dish. I’d love to try it, but of course, the amount of vinegar mixture needs to be enough for the green beans used. I will not be using canned green beans, but my own fresh cooked ones. Thank you for any help you can offer.
