Going back to school is a little different when you are going back to college. Those days are great memories for me. I loved outfitting my tiny dorm room with a new comforter and pillows, throw rugs, a desk lamp, and tons of picture frames. There were so many other things to buy as well.

It’s hard enough coming up with all the tuition expenses of college, but parents need to be prepared for the initial expense of getting that dorm room set up. Macy’s has everything you need from pillows and bedding to small appliances (vacuums, toaster ovens, microwave ovens)–all at great prices. And I’m sure my mom would have loved the benefit of a FREE personal shopper at Macy’s! Just call ahead for an appointment, and you’re all set.

Sending my third and final one to college this year. Usually the dorm has a vacuum cleaner that you can borrow and even if they don’t there is no need to buy a Dyson like they did in the video! Gotta save some money to pay the tuition!
