Texas Chili

Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef, cooked
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes (1 can be rotel for spice)
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 2 cans dark red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup green pepper, diced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • ½ teaspoon celery salt
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic salt
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar or succanat
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients into a slow cooker or stock pot.
  2. Slow Cooker: Cook on high for 4-5 hours, or low for 6-7 hours.
  3. Stock Pot: Bring to a boil on high, reduce heat and simmer on low for one and a half hours or more.
  4. *Cook's Note: If it is too thin for you, add one small can tomato paste to thicken.
