Texas Chili

Serves: 8-10
- 1 lb ground beef, cooked
- 2 cans diced tomatoes (1 can be rotel for spice)
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 2 cans dark red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup green pepper, diced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- ½ teaspoon celery salt
- ¼ teaspoon garlic salt
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar or succanat
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- Combine all ingredients into a slow cooker or stock pot.
- Slow Cooker: Cook on high for 4-5 hours, or low for 6-7 hours.
- Stock Pot: Bring to a boil on high, reduce heat and simmer on low for one and a half hours or more.
- *Cook's Note: If it is too thin for you, add one small can tomato paste to thicken.
