How to Make Croutons
- 2-3 cups of leftover stale bread, cubed
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- In a cast iron skillet, heat oil and butter on medium.
- Place croutons in skillet; stir so every side is coated with the oil and butter.
- Continue turning often so they toast on each side.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
