I just wanted to send a “thank you” for the website, savings and cooking tips that you share. It’s nice to share in being a good steward with what God has blessed us with.
I really enjoyed your “flash freezing” videos, now I know how to keep my bell peppers and onions from freezing in one big clump, lol. I would love to learn how to can fruits and veggies from my garden via video–hint, hint (“
Amy, thank you so much for your encouragement! I will put that on my list! I am not a canner, but I might be able to find someone who is.
I have a question…I made enough spaghetti & meat sauce to feed an army. Any ideas on how to turn something old into something new? What would you do with my leftover pot of spaghetti with the sauce already mixed into it?
I would make a spaghetti pie! Put it all in baking dish that fits, and top with a layer of ricott plus cream cheese and herbs (oregano, thyme and basil, garlic salt) spread over the top, then top with mozzarella or cheddar cheese and bake on 350 for about 20 min. YUM!
I love your kitchen tips. Just yesterday I found mushrooms marked down to .49 cents and 3 pack multi colored peppers for $2.00. I bought 8 of the mushrooms and 6 of the peppers. I used my bango slicer and now I have lots of SUPER cheap veggies to last a long time. The mushrooms are regular price 2.99 and the peppers are 5.99. Thank you for showing me how to do this.
A canning video would be great.
