One Pan Vegetable Penne Pasta

Recipe type: pasta, one pot
- 1 box Barilla Pronto Penne Pasta
- 1-2 tablespoons Barilla Pesto Sauce
- 1 jar Barilla Tomato Sauce
- 4 cups water
- 1 onion, diced (red or white/yellow)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red/orange/yellow bell pepper, quartered
- 1-2 handfuls fresh spinach (optional)
- In a large stockpot over medium heat add 1 tablespoon of olive oiland sauté onions, garlic and peppers for 2 minutes.
- Pour in water and pasta and bring to a boil.
- Once water has cooked down add pesto sauce and entire jar of tomato sauce.
- Add spinach and heat through. Once the spinach is wilted it's ready to serve.
- Serve in bowls topped with Parmesan cheese.
