Hot Artichoke Dip Recipe

  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup of green onions, chopped (both green and white parts)
  • 1 14-ounce can of artichoke hearts, drained, rinsed, and roughly chopped
  • 4 tablespoons hot sauce (Tabasco, Frank‚Äôs RedHot, Texas Pete, i.e. your favorite)
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix all ingredients except for artichokes.
  3. Fold in artichokes.
  4. Pour into shallow baking dish.
  5. Cover and bake on 350 for one hour, until bubbly and hot.
  6. Serve hot with crackers, chips, or assorted breads.
