Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich

Serves: 4-6

Ingredients
  • 1-2 lbs leftover steak, cut in thin strips
  • 1 onion, sliced thin
  • 1 green pepper, sliced in strips
  • Lawry's Seasoning Salt (optional)
  • buns or rolls (hoagie and Kaiser are my favorite!)
  • 1-2 tablespoons butter
  • 4-6 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • A1 Sauce and/or Frank's Hot Sauce
Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to broil.
  2. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in large pan and saute onions until translucent.
  3. Add peppers and cook until soft.
  4. Season with Lawry's if you have it on hand, if not, just use salt and pepper generously.
  5. Add leftover steak strips, toss all together, and heat through.
  6. Lay buns on a baking sheet, top with steak mixture and cheese.
  7. Place pan into oven just long enough to melt the cheese. This should only take 1-3 minutes, so don't walk off or you will have burned sandwiches.
  8. Before eating, pour a generous amount of A1 and sprinkle Frank's Hot sauce (if you can stand it!). Enjoy!
