Egg in a Hole
  • 1 egg
  • 1 slice of bread
  • 1 slice butter
  • 1 glass (for cutting out bread center)
  1. Heat a griddle to 350 degrees or medium heat. While heating, take a glass and cut out the center of the bread in the shape of a circle.
  2. Take the butter slice and spread it on the griddle. Lay both pieces of bread over butter.
  3. Crack an egg and pour into the "hole" in the first piece of bread.
  4. Turn the "hole" piece of bread and brown on both sides.
  5. Turn the large piece with the egg inside over to your liking. I flip once the bottom has turned white and the yellow starts to set.
  6. Serve with fruit and the circle piece of buttered bread.
