How to Make Croutons
  • 2-3 cups of leftover stale bread, cubed
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  1. In a cast iron skillet, heat oil and butter on medium.
  2. Place croutons in skillet; stir so every side is coated with the oil and butter.
  3. Continue turning often so they toast on each side.
  4. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
