Hi Kelly,
I am new to your website- heard about you through Her Magazine here in Nashville. I have been so excited about my potential savings but when I went to print my coupons- nothing happens. I am a Mac user and have tried on both of our computers. Do you have any suggestions? I don’t want to miss the triple sale at HT! Thanks so much and I look forward to meeting you at your class ๐
Angela
It’s great to have you!
FYI – Harris Teeter doesn’t take printables for their Triples weekend. Sorry!
I am a MAC user and in order to print I have to use safari for bricks coupons. I still will have trouble sometimes. Firefox never works on the coupon printers for me. Sometimes you can get them to mail if you are on an unsupported browser, but that of course takes a week or more. Good Luck!
I went to the Brentwood HT tonight. The Colgate was $2.50, so my OOP was .25 each (still cheap, but not free). Also, they tried to tell me that I could only use 1 coupon on the BOGO sales. I debated with them & won! ๐
I ended up getting:
2 – Palmolive = FREE
1 – Gain detergent = 2.27
2 – Ortega salsa = .75 (.38 ea)
2 – Lipton Tea bags = FREE
2 – Lipton Green Tea = 1.38 (.69 ea)
4 – Knorr Rice & Sauce = 2.26 (.56 ea)
2 – French’s Spicy Brown mustard = FREE
1 – Frank’s Hot Sauce = FREE
3 – Colgate toothpaste = .75 (.25 ea)
2 – I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter spray = 2.58 (1.29 ea)
1 – Smithfield bacon = .84
1 – Pepto Bismol = 1.34
Trip total cost was $47.37, total savings were $36.03 with a total OOP of $13.25
This was my first time in a Harris Teeter store & trying their triples weekend. There were a couple of things I wanted to get that they were out of, so I’ll probably make another trip again tomorrow or this weekend. I’m sooo pumped!! Yea!!
Ok so I went to HT in Brentwood and I found that lots of people are coupon crazy! I did buy a few things that I did not a coupon for and some things were out but over all very pleased! I did get great deals on marked down meats. I bought large packs of pork chops and lean hamburger it was less $5 per pack so it was more than half off. Spent 61.00 and saved 34.95 in coupons with 26 items. I did spend more that i usally do this week but this is my second week and I am stock piling – hopefully I will level out soon. Thanks!
Love the pictures, Kelly! Thanks for taking the time to post.
Also, I am enjoying seeing what other’s are getting on sale and at what prices! This helps me refine my list!
I am surprised Jennifer won that BOGO battle! Thy are usually TOTAL STICKLERS and won’t budge on their coupons policy of only ONE coupon per BOGO, not two. This is why Publix and Kroger shine in this area:-) Good job!
I was at the Publix on Concord Rd today and they still had the blinkie Kraft cheese $.75 coupons!! Oh yes, they will be used tomorrow at HT!
Today I happened to be in Franklin for work, so I made a Aldi run. I spent $39.43. Since I am on a $60 a week budget I went to HT. I spent $10.43 and saved $23.19. My cost was driven up with sour cream $2.50 (why did I not buy it at Aldi?) and cheese slices. I had a $.75 coupon, but I had to buy 2 ($5.98) but I am out of town all week and my husband would need it for lunches so I got it. So take out tax and I spent $3.05 on 2 dole cans, 1 polaner spread, 1 mustard, 2 kraft cheese shreds, 2 ortega items, and 1 total cereal. Thanks Kelly for the list!
I got three bags of Kraft 2% Cheddar Cheese for $.89 tax and everything. Used coupons from the blinkie right under the cheese. Sweet deal…went to the one on HWY 100. They were very nice and helpful…had never been in Harris Teeter before and they helped me get signed up on their shoppers card to get all the best deals.
Harris Teeter (LATE night run yesterday—they start their main restocking around 10 pm!)
2-Glad Freezer Bags (30ct) —$1.90 (BOGO price) – .75Q = .77/ea
3-Hefty Force Flex Kitchen Bags (20 ct) — $4.99 (sale price) – $1/1Q = $3.99/ea
2-Total Raisin Bran —$2.50 – .75Q = .25/ea
4-Kleenex Cubes(80-85ct) —$1.75 – .40Q = .55/ea
2-Gain 2X Detergent —$3.77 – .50Q = $2.27/ea
2-Ortega Refried Beans —$1 – .75/2Q = FREE
2-Ortega Salsas —$1.50 – .75/2Q = .38/ea
1-French’s Mustard Jar —$1.49 – .50Q = FREE
4-Campbell’s Healthy Request Soups —$1.50 – .50/2Q = .75/ea
4-Hungry Jack Pancake Mixes —$1.97 – .55Q = .32/ea
2-Healthy Life Loaves —$2.69 – .50Q = $1.19/ea
2-Tropicana OJs —$2.50 – $1/2 = $2/ea
Non-coupon items: These were my splurges w/out coupons, that caused my bill to be a good bit higher AND the garbage bags!
4-Amy’s Indian Meals = $3/ea ($2 off)
2-YoCrunch Yogurts = .80/ea (5/$4)
2-Don Peppino = $1.99/ea
*Totals : $17.60 …my bill would have been around $37, had I not indulged on these items! This is one of my most costly trips here in a long time, but I was pleased that I got so much of what I really needed to restock our pantry! And since I don’t splurge on anything these days, I was ok with it!
Total OOP= $54.61
Before savings= $116
I always like to look at my coupons tendered : $76.47
*Also, for those of you who are new shoppers to HT, be sure and read the fine print on the bottom of you HT receipt. Sometimes they give you a coupon for $2 off or whatever which would make their HT item cheap!
Fun!
