How do you register if you have been laid off?
I could not find anything on the FamilyLife website about the free registration. Could someone post a direct link to this info?
Also, my husband has been out of work for 8 months, so I guess we wouldn’t qualify. I wonder why they have the 6 month qualification.
There is not anything listed, you call the 800 number at the bottom of the website and ask for the discount, they will screen you at that time.

This conference is an outstanding event which is for married couples in all stages of marriage (engaged to empty nesters, strong commitment to ready to file divorce papers). My husband and I attended 2 years ago and learned so much and were able to bring home many useful tools to strengthen our marriage and most important, we were reminded that God must be at the center of a marriage. We attended again last year and were blessed even more and have become coordinators for our church. The speakers are amazing and tell their own stories of trials and tribulations and audiences are put at ease knowing they are not alone. Family Life is very generous in providing financial assistance and what more important time than during a job loss which can be devastating to a marriage. A discounted rate is also available through churches with coordinators. With or without the discounts, this is one conference that every married couple would benefit from. It’s an incredible, uplifting experience that is worth every bit of the cost. The family life website also offers tons of additional resources. May God Bless your marriages!

God has been prompting me to register due to some financial hurts it hasn't been possible.

We are attending this weekend in Overland Park, KS. We are so excited and look forward to what this conference ‘teaches’ us. We are just shy of 13 years of marriage. We are empty nesters. We really enjoy each other’s company and we have come a long way in the past few years – understanding, listening, supporting, and loving each other through everything that comes our way. We share a devotional and prayer time every morning before we leave the house and each other. It is our special time to give to each other and to enrich our daily life with God’s work and word. We will follow up with our experience. Blessings to everyone’s marriage.
