I just got an email that Harris Teeter will be doing triples January 1-4th!!! I haven’t had time yet to look at the coupon matchups and won’t for a day or so, I’ll look tomorrow. In the meantime, below are some links to some other sites that have and will post info.
** Remember, deals & coupons will vary by region.

“I emailed Harris Teeter regarding internet coupons, and they responded that they won’t triple or double internet coupons. Now, I know they’ve doubled internet coupons before for me. The register just does it automatically.”
**** Rumor has it that due to a Proctor and Gamble promotion they will be doubling P&G coupons valued at $1 and $2 and that they will allow 20 extra coupons. This has not been confirmed. I’ll let you know what I find out. (Thanks Clipper Girl Saving Spot!)

A few tips for doing Harris Teeter Triples:
1. Go here and pick your store on the Harris Teeter online grocery store called “Express Lane”. You will use the “search” function to match sales and regular prices w/ possible coupon matchups to get items free or almost free. This does all the work BEFORE you hit the store. You will know exact prices for your stores products.
2. Now, get your coupons all together and sit in front of the computer. I usually just flip through my coupon inserts and the ones that look decent (usually at least $0.50 and up, but mostly my $0.75 coupons) I type the name in the “search” field of the online grocery store link in #1, to see if the coupon is a good deal. Hint: This saves me TONS of time and hassle at the store, because all my work is done before I get there. Especially helpful if you have little ones with you!
3. After you have clipped all items you are interested in, organize them two ways: by priority (you can only use 20 per transaction/day) and then by store layout (I usually start w/ produce, jams/pbutters, meats, etc…). Also, I have 2-3 stacks of 20 paper clipped together, because if there are items not on the shelf in my first 20, I start pulling from my 2nd 20, etc.
TIP: The great deals will probably be gone early, but be sure to ask you store when they will restock again before the weekend is over. Remember, there are no rain checks for Triples weekends!
4. If you really want to be sure you haven’t left anything out, I would highly recommend going to www.hotcouponworld.com and going through their posts for triples in your area – (direct link above). They usually have lots of great posts for coupon matchups, and if you are low on time, you can do this instead of steps 1-3 above. I have found that Coupon Mom is not so helpful, b/c they don’t match up triples with coupons very well.
HT has there Perdue boneless chicken breasts for buy 1 get 2 free. It works out to be $1.83/lb. You can get a max of 6 packages – it doesn’t get any cheaper than that!
I just got back from HT. I had a $.75 Snapple coupon – made it free. I also had $.50 coupon for Lipton tea bags. It made the $1.19 pack free. Thought I’d share my findings. Thanks for all you do!
