Welcome!  For those of you who are new to Meal Planning,  be sure to check out my Meal Planning” tab here for easy tips  on getting started – there are lots of great resources here.

Do you see a theme in my meal plan this week?  I am pulling out all of my grilling ideas since summer is coming around.  My husband loves to grill and it saves me a lot of time in the kitchen, plus it is usually healthier!

So, what great grilling ideas do you have, share them below!

Meal Plan for the week of May 11th:

Sunday:
(Lunch)   Brunch at Grandmother’s
(Dinner)  Mother’s Day Dinner Out!

Monday:    BBQ Grilled Chicken Breast, grilled corn (on sale at Kroger!), side salad/frozen veggies and corn muffins (FREE!) -  Split breasts (w/ bone):   lather in Honey Chipotle Sweet Baby Ray’s

Tuesday:    Grilled Kielbasa, Jambalaya Rice Pouch (FREE), salad, homemade bread (Couponing Workshop tonight)

Wednesday:   Black Bean Enchiladas, tortilla chips/salsa, and brownies (These will double for 2 baby meals)

Thursday:   Tostadas w/ guacamole

Friday: Dinner out w/ friend, leaving hubby and kids at home!

Saturday:  Venison Burgers, sweet potato fries, fruit

Lunches:

Turkey Sandwiches, cantelope & strawberries
Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, sliced apples
PB&J,  sliced apples
Leftovers – pulled chicken sandwiches, kielbasa & rice, and enchiladas

Breakfast:

freezer waffles
strawberry smoothie, whole wheat toast w/ peanut butter
cereal, cantelope
breakfast burrito (egg, cheese, & salsa)
egg sandwich w/ cheese, fruit
oatmeal, whole wheat toast, sliced apples

Snacks:

homemade popcorn or mini-pouches
smoothies
apples w/ peanut butter
applesauce
go-gurts
cheese slices on crackers
