   Have you heard anything about Krogers doing triples again to compete with Harris Teeter?

   How does HT handle the overages of coupons? Will it be applied to your bill? Thanks!

   There are no overages at HT anymore, the coupons will triple automatically up to the price of the item….so if you had a coupon for $.75 on an item costing $1.99, the coupon would take off $.75 for the regular amount, then $1.24 off for the double/triple amount.

   The only time I have ever seen overage is for when a coupon is entered manually, but even then they should enter it to only triple to the price of the item.

   I went to Kroger this afternoon (Bellevue Hwy 70), and they told me as I was checking out that they were tripling coupons right now! I was happy to see that I saved a little more than I expected to. Just thought I would let you know in case you didn’t already.

   The Bellevue Hwy 100 had a big sign out front that they were tripling til June 2.
