I am excited about this weeks meal plan, it was a little easier because I got a lot of great meats and things on sale this week. On Saturday’s Weekly Wrap-Up post you will see my sirloin pork chops and chicken tender strips from my awesome Kroger trip! Those are going in this weeks plan, plus some leftover pot roast that wasn’t fully used after the beef enchiladas recipe you will get in a few days! You will also see lots of potatoes this week; I had a raincheck at Kroger for organic potatoes and I bought 3 bags of them on Saturday. Whatever we don’t use I will make into steak fries to put into the freezer for later.

Meal Plan for the week of August 24th:
Sunday:
(Lunch) BLT’s, sweet potato fries, watermelon, peaches
(Dinner) Sirloin Pork Chops , baked potatoes (organic deal!), sliced tomatoes, sauteed garden squash
Monday: French Dip Sandwiches, steak fries, watermelon (using leftover pot roast and homemade hot dog buns, all we have!)
Tuesday: Beef Empanadas (in crescent rolls from Kroger Mega Event!), tomatoes,
Wednesday: Chicken Mug Pie, green garden salad, grand biscuits sprinkled with chili powder (from Kroger Mega Event!)
Thursday: Grilled Chicken Tender Salad with tomatoes, shredded carrots, cheese, bacon (extra from BLT’s), whole wheat rolls
Friday: Homemade Pizza Margherita , watermelon, grapes
Saturday: Leftovers, or grilling out steak marinating in freezer!

Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, sliced apples
PB&J, sliced apples
Leftovers – chicken tenders, steak fries, pizza
