Menu Plan Monday: September 14th

Welcome!  For those of you who are new to Meal Planning, go to my “Meal Planning” tab here to help you out while you are getting started – lots of great resources.

More stockpiling this week which means more great meat prices!  We got some great pork cuts from my grocery trips, I will be using one of those this week and turning it into a few dishes for leftovers.

What about you, what is on your meal plan this week??

Meal Plan for the week of September 14th:

Sunday:
(Lunch)  Tomato Basil Quiche (leftover from Thursday), cantaloupe and watermelon
(Dinner)  Community Group Dinner

Monday:  Lentil Soup (freezer), homemade croutons, fruit

Tuesday:   Chicken Mug Pie, sugar snap peas (freezer), grand biscuits sprinkled with chili powder

Wednesday:    Pork Carnitas, tortillas, refried beans, guacamole, tomatoes and rice

Thursday:  Grilled Chicken Salad, french bread

Friday: Homemade Pizza,  fruit

Saturday:    DATE NIGHT!!

Lunches:

Turkey Sandwiches, watermelon
Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, sliced apples
PB&J,  sliced apples
Venison bologna sandwiches
Leftovers – pork quesadillas, bbq pork sandwiches

Breakfast:

strawberry-banana smoothie, whole wheat toast w/ peanut butter
cereal,  whole wheat toast w/ jelly
breakfast burrito (egg, cheese, & salsa)
egg sandwich w/ cheese, fruit
oatmeal, whole wheat toast, sliced apples

Snacks:

homemade popcorn or mini-pouches
smoothies
apples w/ peanut butter
applesauce
go-gurts
string cheese
cheese slices on crackers

    Kelly, Did you have a recipe for the Tomato Basil Quiche? My family loves quiche and maybe it would be good to have more than one recipe!
