Our Publix in Hendersonville wouldn’t allow me to use a Target coupon – said they have been told they are no longer to accept Target coupons.
Bluebell has a $1/1 coupon on their website (www.bluebell.com), making a half-gallon only $2.99!
I was told by a manager yesterday on my weekly trip to Publix (the one over here on Fieldstone Parkway in Franklin, TN) when I tried to use a Target coupon as a competitor’s coupon that they (the store) had received a letter from the Publix corporate office saying the Publix stores are haivng to re-evaluate their coupon policy. Among this, they said they no longer accept Target (or any coupons from Walgreens, Rite Aid, and CVS) as competitor’s coupons. They only consider coupons from “traditional” grocery stores as competitor’s coupons, such as Food Lion, Kroger, HG Hills, etc. How sad!
Earth’s Best Baby Food is BOGOF this week and Oven Roast are on sale for $1.99/lb which I thought was pretty good.
I was told the same coupon info at the Spring Hill Publix store that Heather was told.
They also would not accept more than 2 coupons for free items. Guess it’s time to reevaluate where to shop as the few competitor coupons I used really helped a lot. As head of household out of a job, every fifty cents savings adds up quickly.
There is a $0.55 /1 Dole Fruit Cup and $0.75/2 Dole Fruit Cup from 08/09 or 08/23 not sure which I used mine yesterday.
The Kebbler cookies that are on sale BOGO are a good deal too. I found $2/2 peelies on some which made them $0.75 – there was also some $1/2 peelies and blinkies for $0.55 off one. Great to stock up on for when you have to take something sweet or for the Holidays.
I did the Kellogs Waffles deal with $1/2 Target coupon so I got them for $0.50 a box and then I used the Publix “kickoff to savings book” (I think that’s the name of it) for a Free reusable shopping bag when you buy 2 Kellogs products. (and my Publix had just out their pretty pink shopping bags out for Breast Cancer Awareness)
Hope this helps a little… There is also a printable for $1.50 off Kashi cereal bars and they are on sale for 2/$5 – decent deal on Kashi
Happy Shopping
My Publix is still taking Target coupons as of yesterday! I pray nothing changes! However the Lord will provide no matter what coupons Publix takes or doesn’t take….
I went to the sabro.com website and printed two coupons for 1.50 off one tub of hummus. They are on sale for 2 for 5. Two tubs of hummus for 2 bucks!!
Where do I get the All You Magazine?
