Ok, so I have another question. I have loaded coupons on my card from 2 different web sites. If I have 2 of the same one, but from different sites, do they both count, or just one? Thanks again!

There is a catch to the gift card deal at Kroger…you pay sales tax on them so really the $10 you get back is taxes. I went to purchase them yesterday & noticed this so I put them back.

Wow, Crystal, that is such a rip-off on the gift card deal! Good catch. That’s double-taxing… tax on the gift card, and then tax will be charged (of course) on whatever is bought with the gift card. I didn’t even realize that was legal. Boo.

Are you sure? You shouldn’t have to pay tax on a gift card.

Yes I thought the same thing but the two $25 gift cards rang up 27.48 and the $50 one rang up almost $60 or a little over I believe.

I haven’t done this specific deal myself, but in the past whenever I’ve bought a gift card I’ve never been charged tax. Hmmm….

On the 10 for $10 Mix and Match – do you really have to buy a total of 10 items in order to get them for $1 each? Or are they $1 each even if you just buy one? I know sometimes Kroger changes the rule on this. Has anyone tried it?

    Julie,

You don’t have to buy 10 items; you can get however many you want and it will ring up $1.00/each.

The nestle tollhouse link looks like you’re getting a morsels coupon, but it prints a Carnation coupon instead 🙁 And, it doesn’t say $1 off 1, but $.50 off 2.
