How is Del Monte part of the Italian sale? Which Publix Q do you use for that?
If you have a H.G. Hill's in your area, check your circular. Mine had a manufacturer's Q for FREE pasta wyb 2 Ragu and a FREE pasta wyb 2 Bertolli sauces! FREE pasta makes the Ragu BOGO even better!
Did anyone have trouble with the Italian promotion? I made sure I bought 20 things using their coupons with manu. ones and the cashier told me that if I used the store coupons I couldn't get the $5.00 off. I wish now I'd asked a manager because it doesn't make sense.
On the Progresso panko, I could only print the $1.10 coupon twice, so the price would end up being $1.69 per box wyb4. If you're a Walmart shopper, their regular price on the panko has been $1.86, so if you use the coupons, you can get the boxes for $0.76 each!
I can't get the .50/1 Betty Crocker brownie Q to work. Anyone else having trouble?
Holly_B –
I would bring your receipt & the $5/20 coupon back to the store & ask to speak to a manager. I asked at customer service before my last trip & they told me it WAS allowed. It's possible each store is different with all the new changes, but I would definitely ask!
Just wanted share new policies I learned while shopping at the Fieldstone Farms + Brentwood (Tennessee) Publix stores this week. FF said they no longer accept Food Lion coupons since the Franklin store has closed. Also a maximum of 6 coupons are allowed for the same item (I didn't ask if you could separate things into 2 transactions if you had more). Brentwood said you can only buy 6 of each BYGO item. My cashier gave an example of the Green Giant canned veggies–she said next time I could only buy 6 total. I found it hard to believe that you couldn't at least get 6 corn, 6 green beans, etc. but I didn't see a manager and it was the end of the night so I didn't investigate further. I loved that Publix was the one store without all the rules to keep up with but it looks like those days have come to an end! I asked at both stores if these new policies would be posted since they seemed inconsistent but neither cashier seemed to know and the policies seemed different at each store. Has anyone else run into these things? Kelly maybe you can set the record straight for us!
Katie – I will check into it and let you know. I think the reason most stores have to add so many rules is because there has been quite a bit of abuse of the system. Hopefully that will be all it is, I'll follow up! Thanks for the info.
Yes, there have been a LOT of changes in ALL the Publix stores in the Nashville area.
Here's a summary of the changes:
1) Competitors are considered stores within a 3 mile radius of THAT Publix store. Many stores are allowing 5 miles, but I would ask BEFORE your purchase at your store.
2) There is a limit of 6 DEALS per person. This is for both BOGO items or Advantage Buy items. You should be allowed 12 BOGO items, since this would make up 6 deals.
3) Two coupons per item purchased. 1 Mfg + 1 “store” coupon (be it Publix or competitor, but not both).
Here is a more detailed post on the changes:
