Kelly,
My Mom is having to buy large quantities of fruit for my brothers wedding on April 10th. Do you think the strawberries would stay fresh if she stocked up on them Tuesday? Also when would be the earliest we could find out what will be on sale starting this Wed? My Mom is lucky she lives less than 2 miles from Aldi!
Thanks,
Kristan
Kristan,
My personal experience with strawberries from Aldi’s has been that if you don’t use them or freeze them within just a couple of days of purchase, they start to go bad and mold. She could try it, but maybe have a backup plan if they don’t work out. Good Luck!
Tara – I agree, you have to be careful, they are hit or miss, but the prices make it hard to pass up!
