My girls are too old for this movie, but this is a great deal. Would it be tacky if I bought this, did the rebates (which would require opening the package and removing the POP tabs) and then donated it to a toy drive (I have one at work and one at church). Does anyone volunteer at one of these drives? Are opened DVDs acceptable? I would hate to think I would do this just for it to end up in the trash. What do you think?

How can you send your upc in to both rebates?

And don’t forget their freebie of the cars crayola color wonder when you buy the cars 2 movie 🙂

    Kristie,

I’m not sure how they’d feel about an opened DVD, but I’m sure you can find someone who’d love to have it if you ask around. Perhaps you could pick a child off an Angel Tree who has requested a Cars toy. There are several coupons out for them now, and I’m sure you’ll be able to find one cheap between now and then. Tuck the DVD into the gift as an extra bonus. Also, if your church does food baskets around Thanksgiving and Christmas, they usually know who they’ll be delivering them to. Have it addd to one that’s going to a family with a little boy. They’ll be too delighted with the bonus to care that it’s been opened.

Have you used this coupon on the 2-Disc combo pack on sale at Walgreens? The coupon says it is for the 5-Disc combo pack which is not on sale at Walgreen’s this week.

Same question as Linda – BOTH rebates require a UPC code from original packaging. Does the combo set have two UPCs? Still a great deal, just don’t think it’s going to come out as 99cents.

Yes, the Combo set has 2 UPC’s. 🙂

My understanding is that each item has a UPC symbol, and since it is a combo pack (2 items) they should. I hope to verify this later today!

I just purchased the 5 pack movie from Walmart and it was on sale for $24.96. So after my $5 coupon and the two rebates it will be free!! Woo Hoo! Thanks for posting all the great sale info!!
