Why does the Tennessean deem it necessar to provide a daily Bible verse? What other city newspaper does that?
Kelly, I appreciate the daily Bible verse! Although I may not look at it every day, some days when I do, it has exactly the encouragement I needed that day. “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12

I enjoy the daily Bible verses as well. I don’t understand someone being upset over it being there. If you don’t like it, don’t read it. To mean there’s no difference in putting my Bible verse in there vs. putting your horoscope in it. Although I’m not throwing a fit over it. Keep up the verses. Your reward will be great.
