What to Buy and When?
If you have been couponing for a while, you will have noticed that certain items seem to be a better deal at certain times of the year. There are sales cycles that couponers can usually count on to maximize their savings.
Some things are only available once or twice a year, while others can be found on sale in 6 or 12 week cycles. Sodas and snack foods run on opposing weeks- one week, Pepsi products will be on sale, and the next it will be Coke products.
Hold on to all of the coupons that you think you will use, and even most of the ones that you don’t. Opportunities for stacking coupons abound now, and you would not want to find yourself without one of the crucial coupons needed to finish the deal (that you know you threw away). Keep an eye out for blinkies, tearpads, hangtags, winetags and MIRs.
We are coming into a great time of year for stocking up on basics, as well as baking and holiday supplies.
