So, how do you celebrate Valentine’s Day in your house?
We don’t have any set traditions, but I saw lots of great ideas on the blogosphere this week that I wanted to share with you!
Below are some ideas we liked.
- Give Valentine’s to teachers and classmates made from items I got at last year’s after-Valentine’s sales.
- Make chocolate covered strawberries (my hubby did this for ME 2 years ago!)
- Do a Family Date at Steak-n-Shake on Valentine’s Night (My husband LOVES that place, and there were lots of great coupons in the Sunday paper and I couldn’t resist!)
- Gifts: I found this great idea on another blog, (sorry I can’t remember where) to set a price, ours is $10 and hit the “after-Valentines” sales, to see what great things we can get for each other. I have to admit, I am a little excited to see what my husband comes up with!
- Go to a matinee.
- Eat dinner at home, get a babysitter to go out to a nice dessert. (Thanks Christina!)
