If you are unfamiliar with Upromise below is a little info to get you started and how to sign up.
About Upromise (from their website):
With Upromise, families can automatically save money for college while making everyday purchases at grocery and drug stores, gas stations, restaurants, retail stores and online shopping sites. Upromise’s partners include Citi, ExxonMobil Corporation, McDonald’s, JCPenney.com, LandsEnd.com, Sears.com, and hundreds of others.
There are a few different ways to save with Upromise, but my favorite is to earn money by making everyday purchases at drug and grocery stores. After registering, register you shopper cards (mine were Kroger, Harris Teeter, Publix, Food Lion & CVS).
When I purchase participating products, money will be deposited into my account for future use toward my children’s education.
TIP: If you have family members who would like to contribute to your child’s education fund, you can also register their shoppers cards and earn money on their purchases as well!
Now, I load select e-Coupons on to my account, and when I purchase these products at one of the stores I added to my account, the e-Coupon amount for those products will be added to my Upromise account balance.

Kelly,
You didn’t mention it, but it looks like Upromise is a BOA credit card. Do you have to sign up for the card to use it? You made it sound like it’s just a shoppers card -based account.
Thanks
No, you don’t have to sign up for BOA, just follow the step by step instructions to just use your loyalty cards in the program. Upromise has other programs, one of which allows you to get cash back for using your BOA card. I didn’t highlight that one in this post.
