If you don’t currently follow me on Facebook, I would recommend you check out today’s comments on my post about my readers giving stories.
There are some really encouraging and amazing stories from my wonderful readers that I know you would enjoy. Please add yours too. I find that hearing others stories is a great source of encouragement in my savings journey. I don’t know about you, but I need all the encouragement I can get!
Here is one that was posted today:
We were living in Wyoming and my husband was unemployed and we were flat broke. In Wyoming you can leave your doors unlocked. Anyway, we lived about 20 miles outside of Cheyenne and had gone into town for some reason. When we got home that evening, there was a box of food in our kitchen, milk and meat in our fridge and 20 dollars for gas in a card, signed “with love” and no name. I just sat down and cried knowing that whoever had left it probably didn’t have much more than us, but knew we had 3 hungry children and mot much to feed them. I will never forget that day and have tried to pay it forward whenever I see the same need!
Wow, that really is such a touching story. It brought tears to my eyes.
Thank you for reminding me that there are still good people in this world and that we should be thankful for all that we have.
Hope you have a wonderful day! 🙂
Thank you for sharing, this brought tears to my eyes!
Very nice! There are still good people out there!
