I am new to couponing and don’t have a favorite method. I have been googling various methods and love the binder ideas I have seen.

I keep my coupons in regular legal size envelopes labeled and then carry them around in a gallon ziploc bag. Pretty primitive but it works!

My favorite coupon method is stacking manufacturer and store coupons with other store discounts/rebates. I have learned to do this from reading your blog and you have saved my family so much money in the past few months.
I struggle to find a system that works for me. I’ve tried cutting them all each week. I’ve tried cutting them as I need them. I think I’m going to try cutting 1 set and filing the other set for stockpiling trips.
I recently began using the binder method. So far – so good. I have learned I need to keep current with clipping my coupons. I found myself spending 2 hours on Sunday clipping and sorting – had not done so since last Sunday. I have friends and family who save me their coupons as well. I would love to win this binder and give to my daughter as a wedding gift!
I really haven’t found a “good” way to organize. I currently use envelopes and have all my coupons separated out, but I’m always trying to figure out a “better” way.
I am fairly new to couponing so I don’t have a favorite method. I’m currently using small expanding folders. I have one for grocery items and one for non-grocery items because one wasn’t big enough.

I follow you both on twitter and I sent my tweet!
I currently use a binder that I put together myself w/ trading card inserts. Pros: Easy to see coupons and exp dates. Cons: VERY, VERY time consuming … and I’m not really thrilled about the attention it draws in the grocery store. It makes me feel like a crazy coupon lady. Oh well. I guess I am!
My favorite method for couponing is to use to accordion files labeled the way I shop the aisles at the stores.

I’ve been trying different methods over the last couple of years. Haven’t been able to get really serious about couponing, but I lost my job last week so now I have some time to get organized.

I save the entire insert into clear sheet protectors in a large binder according to date. Mine is getting a bit worn though so I could really use a new one. I do this so it’s easier to find when the site says 1/23 SS. I then carry my clipped coupons in a small carrier.
.My coupons are all a mess so I have no tips and this would be perfect.
I’ve tried several couponing methods but haven’t found one that clicks with me yet. I am excited to try the binder method. Right now I just keep coupons in a file folder by date and clip as needed.

I use a 3″ binder with baseball card holders. I tried the accordian file method, but found it too difficult to find the exact coupons I needed during shopping trips. The binder makes it much easier to find everything. Thanks!

Hi! I’m new to couponing, just started as a New Years resolution to save money. I currently have no home for my wayward coupons and would love to receive this coupon binder to organize my savings! thanks!

I just started couponing and learning more about couponing and had just decided yesterday that I need to get a coupon binder.
My favorite coupon method is currently the coupon binder, I made one myself. I like it because I can find what I am looking for fast and my kids love to organize the coupons in the binder, it’s like a game.

I LOVE couponing and have been using the same tattered, velcro-missing pouch for over ten years. I would sure love a new one.
I took a break from couponing but I’m getting back into it. I love the binder method mostly because I can see my coupons and they are categorized.
I use a mini photo book to which i added tabs for each catagory i felt i needed
I currently have a notebook with all my coupons in it. It is very basic. Would love to have the one you are giving away! 🙂
Currently I use a small coupon book and I clip only the ones that match with ads to the stores I go to. I have recently started looking into new and helpful ways to save more money, so this would definitely be very beneficial!

Have been couponing for years and have always used the accordian file that fits in my purse but want to try the notebook way because it seems to hold so many more coupons…
It does…and you’ll find yourself spending less time in search for that 1 coupons you need!!
I find the best way to organize is with my binder and I also have an accordion style that I use for clothing store coupons or Micheal’s and even restaurant coupons. I am on a tight budget so the binder is GREAT. It’s only me and my Fiance so I don’t actually use every little divider I customized it more to how we shop. I also put dividers with pockets to hold my longer or over sized coupons. Putting the coupons in the binder is the most tedious task but it’s well worth it when you look back over the month and only spent $100 on groceries when you used to pay that ever week or more!!!! I <3 COUPONS!!!!
I already have a binder but if I won I have a dear friend that this would help SO much!

Right now I love the binder method. Mine does not look anywhere as neat as this one though. I love the menu planner. I do use a lot of excel spreadsheets and apps on my phone to assist me too. It’s great always having something I can pop in to fix for dinner. With 3 children (2 of them being teenage boys) food goes fast around here…Thanks for all your help!
I typically cut out what I know I will use and keep them in an envelope in my purse.
My favorite way to coupon is with my binder & BB card holders. I love going to a store with my binder and find something I didn’t know was on sale.
I could always use a new binder!

I use a small photo album with pockets. I have tabs for the major categories (beverages, dairy) and then on each pocket I have the subcategory labeled (juice, sports drinks, etc.). This has been very helpful, but my little photo album is so stuffed with coupons that it won’t stay closed!

My fav. coupon method is to NOT clip. I file my Sunday paper inserts and only clip coupons that DON’T come from the Sunday paper, but that I use frequently. When it comes time to shop, I use facebook posts from blogs I follow, like Faithful Provisions t0 find coupon/sale matchups. Then I focus on the items that WEREN’T part of the matchups that I need (toilet paper, etc), and I use Teri’s Coupon Tracker (www.thegrocerygame.com) to find any unexpired coupons in the Sunday paper inserts or printables out there for those items. I WOULD like a binder, however to start sorting and filing those coupons for items I purchase most frequently.
Have been a filer of flyers because I am too lazy to cut but I am missing out on great clearance deals because I don’t have coupons with me. I have been thinking of going binder!

I match coupons with sell items. I plan my menus around the sales each Sunday. I also stock up on great sale items. I would love a better organization system especially one that I could take to the store easily. I currently use an index file card box.
Right now i am using a shoe box that i separate by types (grocery, beauty..etc….) then whatever i need to get with me to the grocery i put in a photo album…It’s working very good for now but i want something more organized..:)

Sorting coupons by category. I’ve probably tried all the options (by date, by store, by category, by type {non-food vs. food}). I do keep eateries and specialty stores in a separate spot from the ones mentioned above.

I currently keep my coupons in a single envelope, so they’re with me when I shop. Not the most organized, but it works.

I prefer the coupon binder/baseball card holder method, but I find I don’t have that much time to cut out coupons every week. So I have most of my coupons in a big hanging file folder, a smaller coupon divider for coupons I’ve cut or other loose coupons, and then a pencil box for restaurant coupons that stays in the car.

I use the box method and clip and bring all my coupons with me. I feel more organized that way. I tried the other way to wait and clip them when I got ready to go but I would never remember to do it. It was too much for me. This way all my coupons are in one place at my fingertips.
I also subscribe to your emails.
The best strategy for me so far is keeping the different coupon inserts , e.g. RP, SS, P&G, intact with the outer binding page with the date on the spine. Then I file them in a accordion binders according to month/type. I DO NOT clip until I am making my list and planning my trip while following the Faithful Provisions post for the particular store where I am headed. I previously tried clipping ALL and it was a total trainwreck of coupon conffetti not to mention tons and tons of wasted coupons and time. I felt like my time and sanity were higher priority than scoring every deal.
I also started using empty junkmail envelopes as my one-time coupon holder per grocery/drugstore trip…I write my list of what I am getting, in the order it must happen and any notes on this envelope while in planning mode. Put the clipped coupons in and I’m ready to go! If I have a 10 and 12 year old tagging along then occassionally they get an envelope of their own with a few coupons to practice what I am preaching! LOL! I am always amazed at the deals they find that easily could have slipped by me.
I already subscribe to the newsletter…so here’s my entry! 😉

I’ve been working coupons today. I’d love to have a coupon container with flexibility. When I am going to a specific store, I’d like to have all that store’s coupons in one place. I’d like a separate slot for eateries. But I also like lots of dividers for the typical types of groceries!
i do all three. i check the recycle bins so i’m always getting inserts. i file the inserts by date in a binder in clear report sleeves and then clip and file 5 inserts each week into the binder. i also have a purse accordion file and i’ll pull out the coupons i need for each store and file them according to store in that. then my coupon binder just goes with me in case there is a great hidden deal i would need my q’s for.

Well, I’d say may favorite way is printing coupons from various websites and using only the ones that match with my local grocery store sales. I try not to keep coupons around too long as they just seem to get disorganized, so I think a binder would be a great option!
I use a file box at home and take a smaller coupon file with me to stores. This binder system looks great!

and I have been trying the notebook with baseball card inserts but need more organization or better tips
I am fairly new to couponing “the proper way”. I always used coupons but didn’t take full advantage of double couponing.
My favorite couponing method is on the internet and computer where I can upload coupons to my Kroger card and print the ones that can’t be uploaded.

i am super excited about becoming more “coupon savy” this year. I dont have a favorite method, but I do love it when people leave left over ones by products on the shelves! I dont know if this is bad practice but I sometimes do it too!
Thanks for the giveaway! I use a coupon binder method of organization. I have three ring binder with photo slots inside. It works, but it’s nowhere near as nice as this binder. I’d LOVE to win!!

I need help with my organization BIG TIME. Here’s hoping I win!! 🙂
I just use an envelope (or two) in my purse to hold all my coupons. When it’s time to check out, I have to sort through about 100 coupons or so. I keep more at home (extras or those I don’t think I will be using). It’s not the best method and I would love to try the binder!
i dont have an exact favorite method yet, i’m still trying to figure the easiest way
Thanks for the contest. Entering!

I use a small 4×6 photo organizer to keep my coupons organized. I have had it for about 5 years now and it is falling apart.
I just sent a tweet.
I just posted on facebook.
Would love to win –
I already use a binder similar to this, but this one sounds more detailed than mine.
I struggle to find a system that works for me – suggestions would be great & to WIN the Notebook!!
I receive emails
I use a small file organizer to put my coupons in, but I think a binder would be easier!
The binder is my fav method. I would love to win this one to give to my mom, I’m working on getting her couponing!!!
This sounds like a much better way to keep coupons.

i got all my coupons in a basket~Lord knows i need someway of organization so they can actually go with me to the stores instead of me walking out of house with no way to carry them to store & leaving them in basket to only to expire …HELP !!! so i pray it picks me !!! lol

I’m new to couponing, but I just discovered the stacking method. Who knew? I already recieve your newsletter. Thanks!
I am just beginning to coupon so I am still finding my method.
really need a binder!! shuffling through piles of coupons to match to adds….takes FOREVER!! so i know forsure that is NOT my favorite way!!
I need something better than an envolope to take to the store this looks great!!!!
FB fan!!!
I use to use the little coupon holder but it was always overflowing! Just a few weeks ago I started a binder. So far I like it, but need ideas on how to organize it better.

I am new to couponing. I am involved in a group that emails me coupons and I get coupons out of the paper. I reallu need a binder to keep them organized. I use an envelope right now.
I just use a file box for my coupons, but that’s not working so well. It might be time for a change!
I didn’t think I would like using a larger binder in the store as much as my wallet size coupon organizer, but it is so much easier to have everything out in the open where you can see what you are looking for rather than having to try to flip through the coupons in the organizer where they tend to stick together. I’ve been using a regular 1 1/2 inch 3 ring binder with baseball card sleeves and am running out of room, I’m going to have to upgrade to a larger binder.
I currently use a small accordion file that is meant for checks. Would love to upgrade to a binder!
I also receive your e-mail newsletter.
I am also a facebook fan. Thanks for the opportunity to win!
I just keep a dollar bin file in my purse with my coupons in it. I also file my inserts away by date:)

I use “ABC” order in food and non food categories.
I use the photo album binders right now it is really difficult I wish I could find an easier way to organize!
Did the Facebook thing!
Love the news letter!
Still trying to find a method for this madness, but we love what this website has done to our grocery bill!
Just starting to clip coupons! Thanks for opportunity to win!

I am helping some moms at my church start “couponing.” Would love to have a give away! 😉
I use wallet sized accordion style organizers. It takes 2 to hold all my grocery coupons. They’re sorted by the aisle in the store I shop the most. I cut out everything and sort and organize it. I really want to try the binder method, though. I think it might work for me.

I have been trying the file the whole insert away together and clip before shopping… Time consuming trying to get list and coupons gathered before shopping trips. I will prob try binder soon! Thx for all you do!
I follow Faithful Provisions on Facebook.
I have tried the notebook method with waiting to cut the coupons until you need them. Currently, I cut all coupons and keep in a expando file. Not the best method for me. I am an organization FREAK and so want to try the coupon binder method. Think it would help me save so much more $$.
Thanks !
I’m still looking for my method!

I keep my Target coupons separate from the manufacturer ones and also keep the Publix separate.
I try to use a clear filing box with folders to put monthly coupons in, then I use envelopes to put my shopping coupons in for the day and I use index cards to seperate them. Its not the best but it works till something better comes up. 🙂

Right now I’m using a binder. After today’s trip I want to choke myself! Horrible! I don’t have all my coupons cut!

I haven’t got a good method for my coupons yet. I try to cut them out as I need them but this doesn’t work well.
i dont really have a method yet, i have tried a few different things and nothing seems to work. i miss so many deals bc i cant seem to get organized. i would love to try the binder. this would be such an amazing opportunity!

Oh! I would LOVE to have this binder!!! I have just started doing coupons b/c my husband and I are in Financial Peace University. I do not know how to organize them so this would help. I am already a fan of yours on Facebook. Pick me! Pick me!
My favorite is the binder style, but I don’t seem to have enough time to do that, so I just keep my inserts. Would love the binder to motivate me to cut my coupons!
I clip all every week and file them all. Thank you!

I follow a lot of money saving mommy groups on FB and print off coupons, as well as get the Sunday paper every week! It’s time consuming so I do what I can, when I can 🙂
Would love to win it for my daughter. Mainly so she doesn’t try to pack mine when we moves to her new house this summer when she gets married.
I used to be organized. Now I have 2 many coupons that expire. I need to get organized, but it needs to be simple. Like me! LOL
I am extremely new to ‘couponing,’ so I am still trying to figure out what method works best for me. I think winning this binder would be a great help to me, because I still get confused about how to use multiples of coupons to save more, and I really don’t have a good organizational method of keeping track of my coupons.
I am a Facebook fan already (pasting the message to my wall right now, actually!), and I am signing up for the newsletter just as soon as I finish this comment! I thought I was already signed up, but I guess I’m not.
I love the binder method, but have just been using a regular 3-ring binder. It would be great to have something a little more sturdy!
My favorite way to coupon is actually remembering to bring the coupon to the store 🙂 I need some help!
I already get your email. Thanks and keep up the good work!
I did well at couponing for a while, but have gotten away from it, sadly. I am looking for a great method to better organize my coupons. I receive your daily emails and follow you on facebook.
currently I use a 3-ring binder with sleeves for the whole inserts. Any improvement on that would be great! Love learning better methods to file my coupons
I am an off and on couponer. Open to any suggestions:)
I file entire inserts right now, but would love yo do the binder method so i have all my coupons with me when i shop…would love to win a binder, thanks for the giveaway 🙂

I use a binder method and put the ones that I don’t need in there and then I bought small photo albums for a dollar at walmart and have them broken down by aisle of the store. I would love to win the binder to get me organized. I am really bad at not knowing how to start. I had them divided by smartsource etc.

right now my method includes plastic grocery bags, baggies, and envelopes. so I really need this binder! 🙂
I’m new to couponing so I don’t have a method yet but am really enjoying everyone’s tips on here.
On Feb 1, 2011 I posted the link on my FB page.
I use the paper clips with the springs on them, and separate them by, meat, dairy case, cereals, baking items, frozen items, and household items….Then when Im going shopping I print out the grocery list from my grocery store that I get on your website….and put the coupons for those stores, attatched to my lists…..which in the long run saves time, and Im not constantly going through my coupon stacks….
My husband NEVER wanted to go to the grocery store with me before, but since I have saved him sooo much money, he loves watching the totals on the cash register come down, and down……he says that I perform magic, and he still eats very well….LOL
Just signed up for the newsletter.
I don’t have a coupon system, that is why i need this!
Favorite coupon style is the accordian file because I only cut what I need and I know exactly where they are at all times.

I’m still looking for a good way. My daughter made me a coupon holder out of purple duck tape. I would paper clip the coupons in their respective aisles together in it. It worked for awhile, but has worn out.

I have been using a coupon wallett tyoe organizer that ConAgra put in the Blissdom package last year but I still find it cumbersome to use and no matter what I do I always end up at the store for at least two hours.

Another fav coupon method: I found a cute little accordian folder that fits in my purse, smaller than the normal small ones. So I put all the ones on my list in front, and I put a few that expire soon in the other slots, just in case I find a deal!
I already subscribe to your email newsletter! 2/3/11
I don’t really have a method but I keep all of my coupons in a ziplock bag.
I am a coupon newbie, right now all my coupons are in envelopes (alphabetically) but I am searching around for a binder. Crossing my fingers, maybe I’ll get lucky!
I am new to the coupon world but love it. Haven’t found a good way to keep mine organized. This seems like it would be good for me.
When it comes to coupon organization, I haven’t found a great solution for myself yet. I’m hoping this would be just the thing!
I use a photo album with pockets. The poor little thing can’t stay closed any more because of all the coupons I have.

I prefer having the coupons loaded on my club card so I don’t lose them! My purse is full of stray coupons. I used to have a file folder, but it felt unorganized and I gave up on couponing for about 2 years. I’m ready to begin again and need a new system!
Oh, I also subscribed to your newsletter!

My Dave method: I imagine it will be the binder:)
I use a combination of a notebook and a filing system.
