It’s been an exciting week for me because I traveled to Atlanta to promote my new book, Saving Savvy, at the 2011 International Christian Retail Show (ICRS). You may have seen the picture on my Facebook page of me with Nicole C. Mullen–meeting her was definitely a highlight of my trip. It was a great experience overall, and I am getting more and more excited about the book’s release in September.
I haven’t done my grocery shopping for this week yet, but I’ll be heading out to Costco, Whole Foods, and Kroger today. I’d love to know how you did saving money at your favorite store this week!

My savings this week was at WalMart…not my normal grocery shopping place but I got a tip from one of my daycare moms that they had bags of chicken breasts marked down.
Ready…. I got 14 bags of the 3lb bags of boneless skinless chicken breasts for $2.00 per bag!!!! 42 lbs!!! I was sooo excited. Did a batch cooking session yesterday with 16 libs, have a couple still frozen to use latter and will finish the other 20n lbs tomorrow. That was my awesome shopping bargain of the week 🙂
