Free-Mothers-Day-Poems

Here are several Free Mother’s Day poems to use for your scrapbooking pages, cards, or bookmarks. “My Mommy Cuddles Me” is perfect for a little one to send to Mom and “Just Spreading My Wings” would be great for a teenager to give. For a husband whose wife is expecting a baby, I like the poem, “Next Year It Will Be Different.”

My Mommy Cuddles Me

My mommy cuddles me
kisses me, hugs me and misses me
pampers me, praises me, always
amazes me

Washes my clothes for me,
tickles my toes for me,
giggles and talks with me,
and also goes on walks with me,
Says “sweet dreams” to me,
Sings sweet songs to me,
I am glad she belongs to me.

Just Spreading My Wings

Mom, you knew these years would not be easy–
In fact, your friends told you they’d be long.
I’m just trying to grow up,
And you want to make sure I grow strong.

Our heads may butt and tempers clash,
But I’m just spreading my wings.
I want to be grown up, beautiful, and brave,
Because you’re all those things.

Next Year It Will Be Different

Next year it will be different–
The baby will be here.
Our lives will change,
You know that, don’t you, dear?

But you are still a mom right now,
and our baby’s known to the One
Who has planned his days (or hers!)
to give us a daughter (or a son!)

So take today to rest and breathe
and hold my hand real tight.
Next year it will different–
and that will be so right.
