Sunday Papers:
***Sunday Papers are $1 through the end of June!
Pampers Deal:
There is an unadvertised Pampers deal at CVS right now, and it is awesome!!
Buy one jumbo pack of Pampers for $8.99 and get $5 Extra Care Bucks Back!!!
:: Go here to read more about this deal.
Note: ECB’s are NOT printing immediately for this deal, corporate issued a statement to our local store that these will print on your first receipt in July. I would be sure to keep your receipt and print out the link above, keep them together, to make sure you get your $5.
Apparently I am the ONLY one who got told this, so I will be heading back tomorrow.
Update: You will be issued EBC’s manually after your transaction, with a limit of 3. Good news for most of us!! 🙂
**UPDATED DEAL**
Pampers Jumbo Pack Diapers or Easy Ups – $8.99
– Earn $5 ECB on first July printout (Limit 3)
– Use $1 off in 6/07 PG insert (Today’s paper)
Final Price: $2.99/ea (Thanks Diane!)
If you’re in the Franklin area, the store on Liberty Pike is not honoring the deal right now. They said the manager would have to talk to corporate tomorrow. But the store on Del Rio and Hillsboro Rd will let you buy 3 packs and the cashier will manually print the ECB’s for you. Better hurry because they’re going fast!
Thanks for giving the update about the ECBs. I actually bought the diapers this morning and just now read your blog. I will be returning to my CVS tomorrow to inquire about the ECBs. I hope they print them at the store while I am there! I love your blog and you are helping me save SO much money. You rock!
The Sprig Hill CVS mgr. told me that their $1 Sunday paper special ended June 1. If you know of others that are still honorin this deal, pls. let me know at kmfields@ymail.com.
blessings!
I did this deal 3 times today, my cashier called Customer Service and she said there was an automated message saying that the cashier had to manually issue the ECB’s. They will NOT be issued in July.
The limit is 3 per transaction.
Your cashier should issue these ECB’s manually for you – they will not be credited to your account next month.
My cashier refused to honor this deal even with the printout from the website. He said someone had already brought that in and they had called their help line and because there was no code, no limit and it wasn’t in the ad they weren’t going to honor it. Hopefully they will fix this and I can go back in there to get my ECB’s.
the h’ville cvs was doing the diaper deal & manually entering our $5.00 ecbs. Lt. 3 deals. So glad I found you. A customer (at CVS) mentioned your site! So glad there’s someone blogging for nashville!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!
oh no, the cvs in spring hill’s mgr said she called corporate and they would issue them in july??? what should i do?!?
I was told by the Manager (after she called and spoke to someone at corporate) that the ECB would print July 1st and there was a limit of 1 ($5). Can I go back with my receipt and ask them to manually issue my $15 in ECBs based on my purchase of 3 diapers? Also, do I have to go back to the Spring Hill store where I purchased them from? Not too confident I would get the best customer service based on yesterday’s experience.
I just read on afullcup that the deal was ended at 10am today (monday)! Please let me know if anyone else has success getting ECBs with the purchase. CVS took their ad mentioning ECBs off their website and customer service is staying they have the right to end internet promotions whenever they want even if it was advertized until 6/13 (which they do), but its still frustrating!
Here is a link to a PDF that contains a screenshot of a Firefox browser with the original CVS ad (which clearly shows the ECBs and the dates). It may not do any good, but you might want to have a copy of this in your purse/pocket just in case… (just click Download Now button when you go to the link below):

sarah, the same thing happened to me and i called 1-800-shopcvs and they gave me the ECBs (limit 3) over the phone to print on my next purchase. hope that helps!!
I purchased 2 packs after 2 pm today not knowing it had ended, and I called the 800 number and she would not honor it and give me the ECBs because the purchase was after 10am 🙁 Very frustrating, as I went to 2 stores and spent an hour out of my day for nothing! Now I have to return them.
Money Saving Mom has reported that CVS seems to have pulled the deal, but she hasn’t been able to confirm it, yet.
Amy, thanks for your help! You must have been the gal in front of me yesterday morning – nice to meet another FP reader. Glad we were able to get this mishap taken care of!
