With all the great back-to-school sales going on, why not purchase an extra backpack (or grab a gently-used one) and fill it up for a child who needs a little help with school supplies? Ask your pastor or call the office at your child’s school to see if they know of a student who needs some help.
There are a lot of great giveaway programs in most communities so that children will have what they need when school begins, but there are still those families who may “fall through the cracks” and need the encouragement of a little help for their kids.
Lead your children to pray for the child who will receive the backpack and then enjoy filling it with everything a successful student will need!
