Robby Wash Blue Laundry Ball Pack Giveaway

on June 21, 2010 · 122 Comments

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

A few weeks ago I was sent the Robby Wash Blue Laundry Ball Pack (pictured above) to try out.  I have to admit, I was a little hesitant about trying it out.  I am used to using traditional laundry detergent.  In addition, our washing machine is a front loader, so I wasn’t sure if I could even use it.

What is the Robby Wash Laundry Ball?
The Robby Wash Blue Laundry Ball is an “ultra high efficiency laundry solution” that replaces your regular laundry detergent. The Robby Wash Laundry Ball Pack contains 10 ounces of macro-molecules which can clean for up to 12 months. It is designed to work in both cold and hot water with softness and colors maintained and it works in front-loading machines, too. In addition, you can still use your fabric softener with it.

What I liked about the Robby Wash Laundry Ball

After trying it out, I actually really liked it.  Here’s why:

  1. EASY – It was so easy, no measuring or spilling laundry detergent.  Just throw the ball into the washing machine.
  2. InExpensive – It is $32.95 for a ball and it lasts a year.  It all depends on how much you spend on laundry detergent, but if you aren’t good at stocking ahead on laundry detergent, this would be a great buy at about $2.75/month cost.
  3. Environmentally Sound – There is only one little ball to throw away each year, versus plastic laundry detergent bottles once per month.

Overall, I liked the concept and if I can keep up with it, (and not lose it!), I like the idea of just throwing it into the wash each time I need it!

So, what about you, what do you think about this type of system?
