I almost got burned at CVS today. I went in to buy a few of their monthly deals that are good ECB deals. Seems the “February” monthly deals all were done yesterday! No real reason for it, but the sale went til the 27th. When my ECB didn’t print, I asked why and they directed me to a manager – who kindly explained the situation and granted me the ECB. Two lessons learned: 1) The manager generally wants to make the customer happy. 2) Read the fine print – even sale dates – what seams logical may not always be.
