Head on over to Balancing Beauty and Bedlam, and print out these FREE “10 Things I Love About You” note cards. You can print them on plain white paper or on cardstock. Obviously, these will be great for your spouse, but what about your kids? Fill one out and pack it in their lunchbox. Or have your kids fill one out to give a grandparent.
It’s so easy to get wrapped up in all the stuff we have to do, and sometimes we just forget to tell our loved ones how much we care. Getting a list like this would be a great way to remind them!
I did something similar to this for my daughter, Amaya as she prepared for 1st grade this year. We’ve had a long year adjusting to having a new baby brother and work schedule changes.. so I have little business cards that were printed out.. and on each one, I can add in something sweet or silly or just plain ole “Hope ya have a nice day”. So that when she pulls out her lunch, she knows that Mommy is thinking of her and still loves her just the same and just as much as little bubby. It’s never in the same place, so she has to hunt for it and it makes her look through all of her lunch and increases the chance that she will eat it all or at least the majority of it.
