Hey Kelly, thanks as always for the coupon listings. I saved a lot of money this week. 🙂
I wanted to point out a couple of things on the coupons listed for Kroger:
The Betty Crocker brownie mix coupon was for “Supreme” brownie mixes, which were only on sale for $2.00 each. I went ahead and bought two boxes of the regular brownies for $1.00 each, and gave them the $0.50 coupon, and they took it, but I don’t know if they were supposed to.
AS far as the Marie Callender entrees, my coupon was for $1.00 off a Pasta Al Dente entree… those particular entrees were NOT for sale, and were still $3.99 each. Other entrees were on sale for $1.88 each. I didn’t buy one, as I wasn’t sure they would take the coupon for one of the on-sale entrees.
The Huggies deal was great though! $18.00 worth of diapers: I had a $3.00 coupon and a $2.00 coupon, and the $3.00 instant register reward, so I saved $8.00! That felt awesome.
Sarah,
Click here for a great article about this very topic. According to her interaction w/ the manufacturers, you can use most coupons for any flavor/style of an item, unless they code it only for that item i.e.) Type of Betty Crocker Brownie, OR a certain Marie Callendar entree. From this article, my take is that you can use it if the store will take it, which most will, because it will scan and they will get reimbursed.
There are lots of views on this, but the first thing I would tell you is pray about it and ask the Holy Spirit to give you wisdom!
I need Pullups but I’m confused. I can use more than one manuf. coupon per item? Or are you saying one coupon per bag of pullups and then you also get teh $3 off at the register. Thanks!
Sharon,
I am saying you can use 2 – $2 off coupons for Pullups (1 for each pkg), the shortcuts & cellfire and also get the $3 back! Good deal huh??
am i the only one that sees a $1 coupon on cellfire instead of a $3? i only have my kroger card registered. should i do something else?
Thanks for the clarification Kelly, yes it was a great deal! Thanks!
