Wal-Mart is adding some really nice incentives for holiday price matching, making it even easier to shop there. They are trying to get customers to make Wal-Mart their only place to shop.
The biggest change in the holiday price matching policy is: If you have already purchased an item and then you find it at a lower price, you will get the difference in the form of a Wal-Mart Gift Card (they will even honor this on Layaway purchases!)
Here are the rules:
- Purchases must be made between November 1 – December 25, 2011.
- You must bring in the competitor ad AND the receipt to receive the price match difference.
- Black Friday and Internet prices are excluded.
- Items on Layaway are included (as I stated earlier.)
Wal-Mart has also announced a number of other shopping incentives this season, including layaway on purchases over $15, FREE shipping on most Walmart.com products, no interest on Wal-Mart credit card purchases (if they are paid for in full within six months), and a $.10 discount on each gallon of gas bought at participating Murphy USA or Wal-Mart stations.
