My husband is who I celebrate today. My husband is active duty military current. He served in Iraq back in 2008 (before I was even in the picture). He has been in the military since 2002 and will actually be getting out next year. We currently live 200 miles from one another & he travels home every weekend to see me. (Talk about love!) He is the most amazing man I have ever known & I am so grateful that God sent him into my life. I thank God every day for him & am grateful for the protection He has given him all these years!
My husband served in the Air Force for 9 years and the Texas Air National Guard for 15 years. He is my hero. While serving in Qatar and Iraq during Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom, he went out of his way to keep in touch with me and our daughters. He wrote letters, sent post cards, e-mailed, and IM’d as much as possible. I am so grateful for his servant’s heart and for making family a priority, even in the midst of difficult circumstances. Next to God’s precious Son Jesus Christ, my sweet husband is God’s greatest gift to me.
