Today Only, Friday, July 27th, Whole Foods Market is having a Sizzling Summer One-Day Only Sale on Wild Alaskan Salmon for $8.99/lb. This is a GREAT price for wild-caught salmon! If you’ve never tried salmon before, it’s super yummy & very nutritious (high in Omega 3!). Plus, it’s really easy to prepare and doesn’t have a very “fishy” taste to it. Here are a few of my favorite simple salmon recipes:
- Grilled Salmon Sandwich
- Panko-Crusted Salmon over Greens
- BBQ Salmon
- Lemon Salmon Pasta
- Pan-Seared Fish with Asian Dressing

Hi! I love your blog and I in no way mean this to correct you, but is it the Alaskan Salmon on sale or Atlantic? I ask because i like to avoid Alaskan (Pacific) Salmon, even if wild, due to radioactive levels that have skyrocketed on the Alaskan coastline. I try to get Atlantic Ocean wild caught salmon. Just wondering which it is so I can go stock up if its Atlantic! Thanks!
