I just spoke with CVS 1800 Customer Service Line and the rep. told me that these coupons cannot be used at CVS because it says : redeemable at Walmart. She told me that the manufacturer will only reimburse the store that is printed on these types of coupons. Do you have any additional info. on this? There are several other coupon blogs linking this Colgate-Optic coupon to CVS? I can’t understand how so many coupon blogs could be posting it also and CVS Customer Service says they cannot accept it. Thanks in advance for helping me uderstand this 😉
The CS rep is misinformed. If it says “Redeemable ONLY at Walmart”, then it’s a Walmart coupon. As long as a coupon says “Manufacturer’s coupon” on the top and has a remit-to address included on the front, it should be a valid coupon & can be used anywhere. Think of the logo on the front as advertising (Walmart WANTS you to use that coupon at that store). However, the stores have the final say as to whether or not they’ll accept a coupon. I would recommend asking the speak with the store manager at your location as to whether or not he’ll accept it. Hope that helps!
Thanks, Kelly. I understood it exactly as you stated above. In my case, my CVS store will not accept it. Thanks for making it clear and easy to understand. Blessings and thanks for all you do.
