One of my favorite things about all the things I have learned in this savings journey has been having a “Grocery Buddy”. It is one of the things I encourage in my workshops. In fact, I love it even more because it is supported by the Bible! I was in the YMCA one morning working out and found this verse that said it so well.
Two are better than one, for they have a good return on their work. ~Ecclesiastes 4:19
Do you have a “Grocery Buddy”, someone who spurs you on to get the best deals possible, and save the most money? Who is your coupon clipping friend? Tell us about them!
I absolutely agree! I have several women that I share deals with. Specifically, Heather Parks has been a great coupon buddy for me. She has been doing couponing longer than I have, so she was a great “mentor” for me in the beginning. Plus, she is a fantastic Christian woman & friend & helps me stay ethical in my coupon shopping deals. 🙂
I am a newby to couponing but it has become an addiction. I love clipping the coupons and checking the deals. I owe all this to Dana Beal my best friend who has gotten me hooked on using coupons. We call eachother daily to discuss deals we find and discuss how much we saved or what we got free. She’s been doing it a lot longer than me so I tend to call her to verify that I am saving the most I can. We make it a game. Our goal is to save more than we spend.Everyone needs a grocery buddy. Thanks Dana for helping me save money.
